Welcome to the website of the 3rd Southeastern Immunology Symposium. This symposium, which will be hosted by Emory University School of Medicine, will provide a forum where the newest developments in basic, translational and clinical immunology will be shared with the goal of fostering increased relationships and collaborations. To this end, fifteen leading faculty from institutions across the southeast will present their work. Additionally, three distinguished keynote speakers, including Drs. Rafi Ahmed (Emory University), David Artis (University of Pennsylvania) and Philippa Marrack (University of Colorado - Denver) will present their most recent advances. An interactive dinner and poster session will be a main feature of the program, with three select posters chosen for oral presentation.
- Rafi Ahmed, PhD: Emory University
- David Artis, PhD: University of Pennsylvania

A Saturday evening poster session will engage the science carried out by graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. Abstracts for the poster session should be submitted through the site. Three abstracts will be chosen for presentation during the oral sessions on Saturday and Sunday. These select abstracts will receive a $200 prize. Additionally, four posters will be selected to win prizes of $100 and will be judged during the poster session. Prizes will be provided through generous sponsorship of The American Association of Immunologists.
